A miracle came in the form of my dogs:)

The other day I took my dogs to a local dog park for some fun and exercise. What I actually got from the morning was a great lesson about being in the moment. My dogs were playing with other dogs and enjoying the toys and scents and meeting new dogs. After being there for about 25 mins or so, I realized that my dogs were totally living for the moment and I was preoccupied with thoughts about what I was going to do for dinner, get at the store, etc. In that moment, I realized that my thoughts were not focused on meeting and talking with the people and dogs before me. Once I chose to allow a shift in my perception, a very relaxing sense of peace came over me and I ended up having a lot fun playing with the other dogs and meeting new people in my community. My awesome dogs taught me to focus my thoughts on the moment and enjoy life for what it is (was).
